The previous fall, I’d played my last down of football, ending a 12-year career after a major knee injury—my second ACL tear in my left knee, along with an MCL tear and meniscus damage. I’d tried to start my own recovery in January but had no success. Knowing little about Team GFit, I took a leap of faith, and it changed everything.
Over the past two years, we worked through trial and error with my workouts, diet, and training style, tailoring everything to fit my needs. The biggest change was my diet—it became a lifestyle, not just a "diet." Next came the gym, which I made a priority, committing to each workout both physically and mentally. Until I got into this routine, I hadn’t realized how far gone my mental health was. I had little confidence, no drive, and no ambition, but now, I have all of those. Setting small daily, weekly, and monthly goals gave me purpose, and I started to feel like myself again.
The support and accountability from Anthony and the GFit community have been second to none. I owe them everything. The path I was on was dark, but now my possibilities feel endless, and I’m truly living my best life.
