I moved to Canada in 2017 and started school at the University of Manitoba, Asper School of Business. I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in Business Management, but I discovered my interest and passion for Human Resources Management after I started my degree.
I initially joined GFIT as a co-op student, and I fell in love with the company culture, the values, and the vision. So, I continued my role as the HR Manager and analyzed the current HR procedures while developing the new HR strategies. These include recruitment and selection, on-boarding, performance management, training and development, administration, engagement, and the EDI strategy.
I admire the support and empowerment that GFIT strives to provide to its stakeholders, and I feel fortunate to be a part of that by contributing to HR growth.
