I am an Inuk woman who attained her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Calgary; I also minored in Sociocultural Anthropology, which fostered a deep appreciation for the ways culture and religion shape worldviews and influences choices.
I have a range of experience in supporting people across the lifespan, and specializes in grief/loss, navigating change, radical acceptance, and goal attainment; I am also experienced in building healthy relationships and strategies aimed at interrupting intergenerational trauma.
I provide strength-based, ecologically-focused support while utilizing a variety of approaches, including Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-based Counselling, and Rational Emotive Therapy.
