Quick answer

What is GFIT's online glute growth coaching?

GFIT Wellness is a Winnipeg-based online coaching service for women who want to build stronger, fuller glutes through personalized resistance training, nutrition and progressive programming. Each client works weekly with a certified health & fitness coach and can meet monthly 1:1 with registered health professionals including Registered Dietitians, Registered Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Naturopathic Doctors and Clinical Counsellors. Programs are individualized around your experience, body, equipment, recovery and goals — whether you're starting from scratch or have trained for years. It develops glutes through progressive lower-body strength training, technique and adequate nutrition, while still training the whole body. Registered-professional services may be reimbursable through Canadian extended health insurance, NIHB, VAC and CAF benefits.

The program

Glute growth isn't about finding one magic exercise

Training. Progression. Exercise selection. Nutrition. Recovery. Technique. Your glutes grow when the pieces work together — not when you collect more booty workouts. Every program is individualized, but most include six core pillars.

01
Coach · weekly

Training programmed for actual glute growth

Your coach builds progressive lower-body training around you — selecting movements, volume and progression that challenge the glutes while supporting balanced full-body strength.

02
Coach · weekly

Progression instead of random workouts

Same exercises with the same weights eventually stops being enough. We track performance and progressively adjust load, reps, sets and difficulty so your training keeps giving your body a reason to adapt.

03
Technique

Make the right muscles do the work

Squats, hip thrusts, hinges, lunges, split squats and isolation work can all have a place. Your coach selects and refines exercises based on your structure, equipment, experience and where you actually feel the movement.

04
RD-led · monthly

Nutrition that supports muscle growth

Building muscle takes more than training. Registered Dietitians help align protein, overall intake and meal structure with your goals so nutrition supports training and recovery instead of working against them.

05
Recovery

Grow between workouts

More glute sessions aren't automatically better. Training has to be balanced with enough recovery to adapt. Your plan considers sleep, stress, soreness, training frequency and the rest of your weekly activity.

06
Whole-body

Build glutes without neglecting everything else

This isn't a "booty only" program. We emphasize the glutes while continuing to develop your legs, upper body, core and overall strength — creating balanced proportions and a body that performs as well as it looks.

Honest scope of practice

What we do and what we honestly don't

What GFIT coaching does

  • Weekly 1:1 coaching & personalized glute-focused programming
  • Progressive overload, exercise selection & technique feedback
  • Full-body strength programming & nutrition support
  • Recovery, lifestyle & body-composition coaching
  • Monthly registered-professional sessions where relevant
  • Progress tracking, program adjustments & coverage review

What we don't do

  • Promise a specific glute size or shape, or results by a date
  • Claim exercise can change your skeletal structure
  • Prescribe extreme protocols, crash bulks or restrictive diets
  • Replace physiotherapy or medical care for injuries
  • Diagnose conditions or prescribe medications or hormones
  • Promote surgical or injectable cosmetic procedures

Your genetics and structure influence your starting point and ultimate shape. We focus on the muscle you can build through effective training, nutrition and consistency — and if body-image concerns run deeper, our Psychologists and Clinical Counsellors can help.

GFIT client Adrienne — before and after transformation

"I can't believe how much I've improved my body composition and lifestyle — especially being a busy mom of a toddler and a newborn. I'm going into my wedding in the best shape both mentally and physically. If you trust the process, the results follow. I used to rush to drop fat as fast as possible, but this year showed me slow, gradual progress is the way — because this is my new lifestyle now, not just another diet."

FAQ

Glute growth coaching common questions

How do women actually grow their glutes?
Glutes grow through resistance training that provides enough challenge over time, supported by adequate nutrition and recovery. Rather than relying on one exercise, GFIT programs use an individualized combination of lower-body movements and progressive training based on your experience, structure and available equipment.
Why am I training glutes but not seeing growth?
Common problems include repeating the same loads and reps indefinitely, inconsistent training, poor exercise execution, inadequate recovery, or nutrition that doesn't support muscle development. Your coach looks at the entire program rather than assuming you simply need more glute exercises.
What are the best exercises for growing glutes?
There isn't one mandatory exercise for every woman. Hip-extension movements, squats, hinges, lunges, split-squat variations and targeted isolation work can all contribute. The best combination depends on your anatomy, experience, equipment, technique and how the exercises fit the overall program.
Do hip thrusts grow your glutes?
Hip thrusts can be a useful glute exercise, but they aren't the only way to develop the glutes and don't need to dominate every program. GFIT combines exercises based on the client rather than building the entire plan around one movement.
How often should women train glutes?
Frequency depends on total weekly volume, exercise selection, training experience and recovery. More sessions don't automatically produce faster growth. Your coach distributes glute-focused work across your week so there's enough stimulus without simply accumulating fatigue.
Do I need to eat more to grow my glutes?
Muscle growth requires adequate nutrition, particularly sufficient protein and overall energy. That doesn't mean every woman needs a large calorie surplus. Your Registered Dietitian can help determine whether maintenance intake, a modest surplus or another strategy makes sense for your starting point and goals.
Can I grow my glutes while losing fat?
Body recomposition is possible for some women, particularly those newer to structured resistance training or returning after time away. For more experienced lifters, maximizing muscle growth and fat loss at once can become competing goals. Your coach helps determine which priority makes the most sense for your current phase.
Can women over 40 still grow their glutes?
Yes. Women continue to respond to resistance training through midlife and beyond. The program may account for training history, recovery, sleep, injuries and other life-stage factors, but turning 40 doesn't eliminate your ability to develop muscle.
Do resistance bands grow glutes?
Bands can provide useful resistance and have a place in some programs, but you don't need endless band circuits to build your glutes. Long-term development requires training that can keep challenging the muscles as you get stronger.
Is glute growth coaching covered by insurance in Manitoba?
The fitness-coaching component itself may not be reimbursed as a standalone personal-training service, but eligible 1:1 sessions with GFIT's Registered Dietitians, Registered Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Naturopathic Doctors and Clinical Counsellors may qualify under your extended health benefits. GFIT also works with NIHB, VAC and CAF. We'll review your specific plan during your free discovery call.
