Laela went through multiple phases of nutritional periodization, allowing her to go from 212 lbs to 157 lbs. While fat loss was the main goal, she also worked through phases focused on optimally adding muscle - ultimately allowing her to improve her metabolism and body composition!
She ultimately dropped over 50 lbs and was able to come out of it with a healthy metabolism and some amazing muscle tone, thanks to utilizing these different phases. She also majorly improved her overall health: Laela dealt with multiple challenges along her journey, including an autoimmune disease. Even with these obstacles, she was still able to be incredibly disciplined and commit to achieving this life-changing transformation.
