Mental Health is a Top Priority For Our Community

In any given year, 1 in 5 in Canada will experience a mental health problem.

Nearly 50% of people who struggle with anxiety or depression have never seen a doctor.

Fear and misunderstanding often lead to prejudice against people with mental illness which prevents them from seeking treatment. By providing mental health education and resource navigation, the CMHA aims to stop the stigma and reduce barriers to receiving support.
